TIRE SERVICES

WHy are they important?

Tires are the connection between your vehicle and the surface of the road. A critical part of your vehicle’s suspension system, tires are responsible for transmitting the forces of driving, steering, and braking to the surface of the road. Although tires are easily maintained, they are often overlooked. The air inside your tires and the design of the tire influence vehicle performance, tire tread life, and ride comfort. Tire maintenance is vital for getting the most out of your tires by maximizing mileage and tread wear.

Our staff will help you understand the basics of tire care and maintenance, when you should seek tire rotation, balance, and alignment. We will also help you understand tire sidewall markings, teach you the best time to purchase a new set of tires, and show you how to choose the right set of tires for your vehicle.

You can find great deals on new all-season, summer and winter tires.

TIRE SERVICES

WHAT WE OFFER

1 New Tire Purchase & Installation

When tires are completely worn or unable to meet a driver’s needs, the tire purchasing and installation process usually follows.

When tires are worn, they won’t perform correctly. Worn tires heat up more quickly, puncture more easily, and take on roads less effectively.

They can also be a potential danger to the driver and other motorists.  If you need assistance finding the right tire, our expert staff can help.

Computerized Wheel Balancing

Tire Balancing is important to extend the life of your tires, as well as increase the basic safety of your vehicle.

Tire and wheel assemblies are prone to various weight discrepancies that can cause a number of problems.

If you experience vibrations in your vehicle, hear squeals from your tires, or feel your vehicle pulling in one direction, then one or more of your tire and wheel assemblies may be in need of re-balancing.

With your tires and wheels properly balanced, you can enjoy an overall smoother ride, greater control, better mileage and longer lasting tires.

5 Tire Repair

Do you have a slow leak or a flat tire?

We closely follow safety recommendations from the Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (RMA) The RMA states that a flat tire can be repaired if the puncture is 0.25 inch or smaller and if the puncture is located on the tread of a tire.

They recommend that the tire repair procedure involve a plug and a patch on the lining of the tire. A plug and a patch can add thousands of miles more to a damaged tire.

6 Tire Rotation

Recommended: Every 10,000km or Oil change

Rotate your tires to prevent uneven tread wear. Uneven tread commonly occurs because most vehicles do not distribute weight evenly between the front and rear tires.

Tire rotation is the process of moving the wheels and/or tires of a vehicle from one position to another.

This gives tires even wear, prolonging their lifespan and giving you more time on the road.

7 Wheel Alignment

A wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of the wheel of your vehicle so that all wheels are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground.

A wheel alignment keeps your vehicle running safely and efficiently.  It promotes reduced tire wear, better gas mileage, and safer driving conditions and less wear on your suspension components.

If your vehicle begins pulling either way while driving, or if you feel vibration in the steering wheel at higher speeds, you may need a wheel alignment.

8 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

When there is a drop in tire pressure below the required recommendation, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) will detect the deviation by illuminating or flashing an indicator light on the dashboard of your vehicle.

When this happens, check your tire pressure, inflate the affected tire to the manufacturer's recommendation, or bring your vehicle to us.

During a TPMS service, if our technicians uncover any damage to the system or its components, they may need to replace valve cores, valve nuts, seals, seal washers, or valve caps.
